About Us - Art in the Park

Art in the Park is a committee under Preservation Lampasas, Inc., a non-profit organization, whose purpose is to plan for, preserve and protect the unique histroic identity of Lampasas, Texas. In support of this objective the organization will:

  • Work to preserve and rehabilitate the historic springs of Lampasas, historic buildings, neighborhoods and places.
  • Promote the use of historic places for the education, recreation, pleasure and welfare of the people of the area.
  • Collaborate with local government, historical preservation and heritage groups and other organizations interested in preserving the heritage of Lampasas Texas.
  • Promote community pride.

The committee for Art in the Park's purpose

  • Is dedicated to improving the quality of life through art and encouraging creativeing in its citizens.

  • Provide a tourist destination unique to most small towns in Texas.
  • Promote a place where citizens and tourists alike can relax and recharge.
